Today’s logo links to a search for “Where do I vote?” which provides a quick answer box where users can enter their address to find polling locations.
According to Google, the following searches will give users “all the information” needed to vote, tailored by state:
- “how do i vote”
- “where to vote”
- “what identification do i need to vote”
- “who is on my ballot”
Users can also visit Google.com/+GooglePolitics to find U.S. election search trends. Google says users can search “election results” tomorrow to see who won which elections.
Google’s not the only search engine getting the vote out. Bing has developed its own voting guide for election-related search queries, as well as posting predictions on who will win elections within major metro areas.
Announced earlier this month, Bing users can go to Bing.com/elections, or perform election-related searches to find voter information. The site also rolled out a “My Ballot” feature to offer location-specific ballot information.
