Dr. Yuan Qingfeng, Ampace’s CTO, highlighted the company’s continuous innovation in battery technology and shared his thoughts on the development of the JP30 cylindrical lithium battery. “For years, the industry believed that the power capabilities of 18650 batteries had reached their limit. The JP30 is a game changer,” he said.
The JP30 not only features a more compact and sleeker design, but also delivers excellent performance with an ultra-high power rate. Thanks to a series of technological advances, the JP30 achieves a significant leap in performance. It is an ideal solution for applications requiring precision and with size and weight constraints.
Multiple innovations and breakthroughs accelerate wireless transformation
The JP30 achieves significant progress in various data indicators, including output power, pulse discharge capacity, battery life, recharge speed, and low-temperature performance. The JP30 achieves 36A continuous discharge and 140A pulse discharge within 5 seconds, ensuring smoother operations in steel cutting and concrete drilling. Its capacity has been increased by 20% from 2.5Ah to 3.0Ah. In terms of longevity, the JP30 offers more than 600 cycles at 30A discharge, three times that of traditional 18650 batteries. At 20A discharge, it exceeds 1000 cycles, greatly reducing the unit cost of battery use. The JP30 also charges to 80% in just 10 minutes, 60% faster than conventional batteries, meaning that 2 or 3 batteries are enough for working outdoors.
